The water lily, always a fan favorite is an explosion of color reaching out from the abyss.  A quiet elegance against its dark backdrop, captivating our eyes and thoughts.

Accurately named "Sunset Beach", it is mixture of energy and serenity.  The roar of the undulating sea, the taste and smell of the salty spray cast into the air, softening the glow of the receding day. With warm sand between the toes, all senses tantalized yet all voices silenced.

So industrious, so much focus, the bee does not care about the monstrous lens focused on it.  It has a job to to and it does it.  Imagine what we could accomplish if we had the focus of a bee.

Why does spring invoke so many smiles and emotions? 

Is it that sense of renewal,..... where we can modify, adjust, or re-do our missteps of the past?
Or is it that our senses have been dulled by winter that we cannot help to but be overwhelmed?
